To celebrate 15 August, Avoriaz invites its visitors to an unforgettable festive evening. The celebrations will begin at 5:00 pm with activities in the centre of the resort, followed at 8:00 pm by a big open-air dance party with a DJ, open to everyone. Young and old alike are invited to come together, enjoy the atmosphere… and dance the night away!
Exceptionally, there will be no fireworks display this year.

The celebrations will begin at 5:00 pm with entertainment in the resort centre, followed at 8:00 pm by a large open-air dance party with a DJ, open to everyone. Guests of all ages are invited to share a fun and friendly moment… and dance the night away!
As part of Avoriaz’s 15 August celebrations, join the entertainment team throughout the day in the resort centre for a range of fun activities. The programme includes straw bale throwing, a pétanque shooting contest on the Forum and traditional wooden games.
Avoriaz Street Lines
This year, during the 15 August weekend, you can also enjoy Avoriaz Street Lines.
It’s the new must-attend mountain biking event of the summer! A spectacular, fun, and accessible day taking place in the heart of the pedestrian resort of Avoriaz 1800. Riders will make their way through the streets, over wooden features, and along natural trails. The day’s program is packed and open to everyone, from the youngest to the oldest.
On the programme:
- Urban race for children aged 7 to 10.
- Urban race for children aged 11 to 14.
- Men’s urban mountain bike race, ages 15 and over.
- Women’s urban mountain bike race, ages 15 and over.
- Urban e-mountain bike race, ages 15 and over.
And above all:
- Street Lines demonstrations: a slopestyle line designed for professional and semi-professional riders, featuring technical obstacles and a giant airbag finish for the trick contest!
- Balance bike race for children aged 3 to 6.
