Welcome to a pedestrian resort
From its very beginning, Avoriaz 1800 was designed as a pedestrian resort, a “car-free” concept that makes it unique in Europe. In summer, everything is done on foot, by bike, or by scooter. You leave your car upon arrival to fully enjoy a relaxed, hassle-free atmosphere where fresh air replaces the noise of engines.
The resort becomes a true playground for both children and adults. Kids explore play areas and outdoor facilities, while older visitors enjoy activities such as Aquariaz, and parents relax on a terrace or play a game of pétanque. In this stunning natural setting, everything is just a few minutes away.
Built on a gentle slope, Avoriaz has been designed to make getting around easy. Shortcuts and public elevators allow you to cross the resort quickly, often in less than 15 minutes. Every residence is located close to the center and activities. Here, everything is nearby, simple, and accessible, allowing you to experience the mountains with complete freedom.
