Avoriaz is at the heart of the Portes du Soleil mountain biking area, the largest in Europe with 650 km of marked trails. The Avoriaz Bike Park is progressive and accessible to all levels! It offers numerous downhill (DH) trails, enduro routes, e-MTB tracks, and fun zones for learning mountain biking… Whether you are a beginner or an expert, everyone will find something to enjoy.
The great strength of Avoriaz lies in its location within the Portes du Soleil area. From the resort, you can easily reach the bike parks of Châtel, Les Gets, Morzine, or even Champéry-Morgins, and return just as easily thanks to the ski lifts!
Hiking and trail running
In Avoriaz, the mountains can also be explored on foot, thanks to a particularly rich and varied network of trails. Between ridgelines, forests, mountain passes and alpine meadows, the routes offer a wide diversity of landscapes, with panoramic views over Mont Blanc or the Dents du Midi as a backdrop. More than 40 routes allow you to explore the area at your own pace, whether for a simple walk or a full day in nature, punctuated by breaks by a lake, a waterfall, or in a mountain farm.
