On the agenda: dance classes, dance parties, and spectacular shows, led by international teachers and dancers. Whether you enjoy salsa, bachata, hip-hop, rock, or tango, you’ll find workshops perfectly suited to your interests. Each year, the festival welcomes iconic figures from the international dance scene. These professionals share their expertise through masterclasses, demonstrations, and live performances, offering a unique opportunity to learn from the best and be inspired by their talent. Beyond classes and shows, the festival is also a place for connection and sharing. Dance evenings and the central guinguette bring participants together in a friendly and festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends, exchange experiences, and celebrate a shared passion for dance. This year, the Avoriaz Danse Festival introduces a brand-new space entirely dedicated to solo dance styles. Participants will have the chance to train and perform alongside renowned guests such as Loan, Kryss Léo, Wasaodilon, Anna, and many others. The programme in this exciting new area includes hip-hop, commercial, heels, and afro, offering an enriching dance experience focused on individual expression.

Avoriaz Dance Festival returns for its 15th edition from August 22th to August 28th, 2026!

Come and participate in the 16th edition of the Avoriaz Dance Festival. On the program: Unlimited classes every day, suitable for all levels (Beginner, Intermediate, Confirmed Advanced), in a beautiful setting, in the heart of the mountains! Every evening of the week, themed parties and shows are offered for you to practice what you’ve learned during the day!

 

Solo Dances

Big news! This year, the Avoriaz Dance Festival is going even bigger and opens a brand-new space 100% dedicated to solo dances.

A place designed to let go, push your limits and feel the energy through dynamic and inspiring classes. Come dance alongside amazing guests such as Loan, Kriss Leyo, Wasaodilon, Anna, and many other artists ready to make you sweat and enjoy every moment.

Hip Hop, Commercial, Heels, Afro… powerful styles, unique vibes and an incredible energy await you throughout the festival. Whether you come to improve, express yourself or simply have fun, this SOLO space is made for you.

For this edition:

What’s on the program

  • The big new feature this year: classes for everyone, from children to seniors. You can come and dance with your family, with a special focus on solo dances.
  • Over 70 classes per day
  • 8 disciplines, in couple and solo dances
  • Workshops, pre-parties, main parties and shows
  • More than 50 teachers and 9 DJs

Dance spaces

  • 8 dedicated dance structures (marquees) for the following styles:

    Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Rock, WCS, Argentine Tango, Ballroom, Urban
  • The central Forum, located in the heart of Avoriaz, turns into a large stage dedicated to solo dances, with classes and shows led by international teachers.

For all ages

  • Classes specially designed for children aged 9 to 11, including solo dance classes (Solo Street, etc.)
  • Classes dedicated to seniors, in couples and solo

Comfort and conviviality

  • An outdoor terrace set up between the marquees, offering a real place to meet and share
  • All beginner and intermediate classes are offered in double sessions, including solo dances
  • Larger marquees for greater comfort, with a dedicated space for each dance style

As the leading federation for dance in France, the French Dance Federation (FFDanse) has been accompanying, developing, and supporting dance in all its forms throughout the French territory since 1969.

The FFDanse offers its members a multitude of dance practices:

The French Dance Federation

Raca Danse

The RACA Dance Family, established in 1984, is a dance school renowned for its instruction in partner and solo dances. From weekly classes to workshops, team competition training, and the organization of international championships, the club has also produced shows at the sports park and Bonlieu theater in Annecy.

For several years, the RACA Dance Family has also been organizing dance trips abroad, and the Avoriaz Tourist Office has entrusted them with the artistic organization of the Avoriaz Dance Festival.
