Giveaway Terms and Conditions (Meta Giveaway 2026)
Win a ski holiday from 6 to 13 March 2027
Organiser: The Avoriaz Tourist Office, a registered association with its registered office at 44 Promenade du Festival, 74110 Avoriaz, France, registered under SIRET number 317 586 006 00023, hereinafter referred to as “the Organiser”.
Article 1 – Duration and entry conditions
This giveaway is organised by the Avoriaz Tourist Office and is free to enter, with no purchase necessary.
It is open to any individual of legal adult age residing in the European Union, Switzerland or the United States, excluding members of the Organiser, its employees, anyone directly involved in organising the giveaway, and members of their households.
The giveaway runs from 14 October 2026 at 12:00 noon to 30 November 2026 at 23:59 inclusive, Paris time (France).
Entries must be submitted exclusively through the official entry form provided by the Organiser for this promotion, including via Facebook and/or Instagram (Meta).
To enter, each person must complete the form and provide the requested information.
Only one entry per person is permitted throughout the giveaway period.
Any entry that is incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated, contains clearly incorrect information or is submitted using an automated process may be disqualified by the Organiser.
Entry into the giveaway is in no way conditional upon subscribing to a newsletter or agreeing to receive marketing communications.
Article 2 – Prize
One winner will be selected by random draw.
The winner will receive a ski holiday in Avoriaz lasting 7 consecutive nights, from 6 to 13 March 2027, for themselves and up to three companions of their choice, for a maximum of four people.
The prize includes only the following:
Accommodation :A 7-night stay in an apartment with one bedroom and a sleeping area, accommodating a maximum of four people, at the Pierre & Vacances Le Saskia Falaise residence in Avoriaz.
Ski passes :Up to four 6-day Portes du Soleil ski passes, with one pass per person taking part in the stay.
Equipment hire :Ski or snowboard equipment hire for a maximum of four people, with each person choosing either:

Skis, poles, boots and a helmet; or
-
A snowboard, snowboard boots and a helmet.
Prize value :
The total retail value of the prize is estimated at €4,500 inclusive of all taxes (four thousand five hundred euros inclusive of all taxes).
This value is provided for information only and does not entitle anyone to claim a refund, financial compensation or payment of any difference in the event of a price change.
The prize is strictly limited to the services expressly listed above.
Services and expenses not included
The prize does not include:
- Transport to and from Avoriaz, including flights, train tickets, transfers, shuttle services, taxis, parking and other travel expenses.
- Meals and dining expenses.
- Tourist tax, where applicable.
- Insurance, including travel, cancellation, assistance and repatriation cover.
- Personal expenses.
- Any service, activity or expense not expressly included in the prize.
Animals, including dogs, are not permitted as part of the prize stay.
The winner and their companions may not request any additional services as part of the prize.
Article 3 – Stay dates and conditions
The stay will take place exclusively from Saturday 6 March to Saturday 13 March 2027, for 7 consecutive nights.
These dates are an essential condition of the prize.
They are set by the Organiser and cannot be changed, adjusted, extended or postponed at the winner’s request.
If the winner or any of their companions is unable to take part in the stay on the specified dates, no postponement, refund, credit, replacement, compensation or indemnity may be claimed.
The prize may not be transferred, resold, exchanged or redeemed for cash or any other consideration.
The winner and their companions must comply with the terms of access to and use of the services set by the relevant providers, including the accommodation provider, ski area operator and equipment hire provider.
The winner and their companions are responsible for any administrative formalities required for travel and the stay, including identity documents, visas or travel authorisations.
Article 4 – Prize draw and selection of the winner
The prize draw will take place on 1 December 2026, from all valid entries received during the giveaway period.
The draw will use a computerised random selection process, such as a spreadsheet, ensuring that each valid entry has an equal chance of being selected.
One main winner and two reserve winners will be selected.
The Organiser will retain a record of the draw and its results.
The winner will be contacted using the contact details provided when entering.
They will have 7 calendar days from the date the notification is sent to expressly confirm acceptance of their prize and provide the information required to arrange the stay.
If they fail to respond within this period, or fail to comply with the entry conditions, the winner will be deemed to have forfeited their prize.
The prize may then be awarded to the first reserve winner, who will also have 7 calendar days from the date their notification is sent to confirm acceptance.
If the first reserve winner fails to respond, the second reserve winner may be contacted under the same conditions.
If none of the selected winners confirms acceptance within the specified time limits, the prize may remain unawarded.
The Organiser cannot be held liable if a winner cannot be contacted because their contact details are incorrect, incomplete or no longer valid.
Article 5 – Personal data protection
Personal data collected when entering is processed by the Avoriaz Tourist Office, acting as the data controller.
It is used to administer the giveaway, including recording and verifying entries, organising the prize draw, notifying the winner and awarding the prize.
The information required to enter is collected as part of the administration of the giveaway. Additional information required to book the stay may be requested from the winner after they have accepted the prize.
Data may be shared with service providers involved in organising the giveaway and the stay, solely to the extent necessary for them to carry out their duties.
Marketing communications
Entry into the giveaway is independent of any subscription to marketing communications.
Entrants’ contact details may only be used for email marketing purposes where they have given their express consent.
This consent must be obtained through a separate checkbox on the entry form that is not pre-ticked.
Refusing to receive marketing communications will have no effect on the validity of an entry or the chances of winning.
Entrants’ rights
Entrants have the rights provided for under applicable personal data protection regulations, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and objection.
Where processing is based on consent, entrants may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out before its withdrawal.
Details of how to exercise these rights, the legal bases for processing, data retention periods and information about any transfers of data outside the European Economic Area are set out in the Avoriaz Tourist Office’s privacy policy, accessible from the entry form.
Entrants may also lodge a complaint with the competent data protection authority, including the French Data Protection Authority (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés – CNIL).
Article 6 – Liability
The Organiser cannot be held liable for technical difficulties, connection interruptions, malfunctions of the internet, Facebook, Instagram or the entry form, or any event beyond its control that prevents the giveaway from running smoothly.
The Organiser reserves the right to modify, suspend, extend or cancel the giveaway in the event of force majeure or exceptional circumstances that make it impossible to run.
Entrants will be informed of any substantial change to the giveaway conditions through the communication channels used for the promotion.
If circumstances beyond its control prevent the provision of all or part of the prize, the Organiser may offer a replacement service of an equivalent nature and value, to the extent permitted by applicable regulations.
The Organiser cannot be held liable for consequences arising from the failure of the winner or their companions to comply with the terms of use of the services or the safety instructions provided by the service providers.
The provisions of this article are subject to any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
Article 7 – Facebook and Instagram (Meta)
This giveaway is neither organised, sponsored nor administered by Facebook, Instagram or Meta.
It is not associated with any of these platforms.
Entrants acknowledge that Facebook, Instagram and Meta are not responsible for organising or running the giveaway.
Any questions or complaints relating to the giveaway must be addressed directly to the Organiser.
Article 8 – Acceptance of the terms and conditions and governing law
Entry into the giveaway constitutes full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are available free of charge throughout the giveaway period, through the entry form or by any other means specified by the Organiser.
The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with these terms and conditions.
The giveaway is governed by French law, subject to any mandatory provisions that may apply to entrants residing abroad.
Wherever possible, an attempt will be made to resolve amicably any dispute concerning the interpretation or application of these terms and conditions.
Failing this, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts in accordance with the applicable rules of law.
