1. Get to the tennis courts (C4) to take the path that
starts on the other side of the road and goes up the
ridge of Avoriaz, to reach the top of the Proclou
chairlift.
Then, take Lindarets chairlift on the way down, then
just in front of you, take Chaux Fleurie chairlift to fina ly
use Rochassons chairlift on the way down. You are now
at Plaine Dranse hamlet.
2. Continue your descent with Pierre Longue chairlift to
get to Pré La Joux.
3. Take the free shuttle A (Linga - Pré La Joux) to Châtel.
The journey takes 20 minutes between Pré la Joux and
the “Place de l'Eglise” in Châtel.
Return to Avoriaz by the same route.
Be careful: lifts usua ly close when a thunderstom is
forecasted. Please check the weather forecast
beforehand & check closure times of chairlifts

Access depending on the snow level, on weather conditions and only when the lifts are open. Before leaving find out about the access to the Tourist Office.

Trip to Châtel from Avoriaz
Let's go to Châtel from Avoriaz with chairlifts and bus.
The Lindarets chairlift provides access to Avoriaz from the Lindarets plateau. Accessible to pedestrians only, for the ascent or descent.
You can then walk down to the Brochaux waterfall via the piste.
