AVORIAZ 1800 Sanitary measures

Find out about our health measures for this winter:

The mountains are a sanctuary, a bubble of nature where that breath of fresh air truly has meaning. Risk prevention is one of our fundamental values. Today more than ever before, we are preparing for the season and we aim to do everything we can when it comes to ensuring the health and safety of our visitors and residents.

What protocol in ski resorts?

This summer, Avoriaz 1800 implemented health protocols certified by the independent firm Veritas. The certification guarantees that, as a tourism entity, Avoriaz 1800 fully complies with hygiene and prevention protocols. By adopting this approach, backed up by strict procedures and discreet audits, we aim for transparency vis-à-vis our visitors in order to reassure them about health measures implemented at the resort.

French resorts are subject to the same rules as the rest of the country: the sanitary mask (certified/surgical mask) is required in enclosed spaces and the European sanitary pass is mandatory for access to certain frequented enclosed spaces such as bars, restaurants and museums, cinemas, auditoriums, fitness rooms, swimming pools and for certain accommodation providers who offer these services.
In addition, the mask will be required in common interiors (shops, some restaurants, corridors and reception areas…) and in transport. You will also have to wear a mask on some ski lifts (according to the operator’s instructions).

From December 4th, any person aged 12 (12 years and 2 months) or more has to provide the result of a negative PCR or antigen test carried out less than 24 hours prior to departure, in order to enter France. For more information, visit https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus

What protocol for lifts ?

The sanitary pass has also been made obligatory for skiers over 12 years old (12 years and 2 months) following the exceeding of the national incidence rate of 200 cases per 100,000 inhabitants. Random checks may be carried out in the ski area.

These measures could change during the winter depending on the health situation.
