Come and discover the swimming pool at the heart of Avoriaz.
Take a refreshing and fun break in a spectacular setting at an altitude of 1800 meters. Designed for all ages, Aquariaz invites you to enjoy a complete aquatic universe, open both in summer and winter. Let yourself be carried along by the gently flowing river, lined with tropical trees. It will lead you through the different areas of Aquariaz. Swim freely in our pool, explore the large paddling area equipped with colorful water games, or relax in the outdoor jacuzzi with a breathtaking view of the peaks. Younger visitors will have a blast with the many play areas specially designed for them. Whether with family or friends, enjoy moments of fun and relaxation in a unique place where water is king and escape is guaranteed.

As part of the Rock On Snow weekend, Aquariaz will be exceptionally open on Saturday, December 13, and closed on Monday, December 15.
Groups, with the exception of large families, are required to contact the establishment in advance with this form
- On the premises: Sale and rental of swimming towels. Sale of swimwear, goggles, children’s buoyancy aids, etc.
- Admission rules: Swimming shorts allowed. Children under the age of 12 years must be accompanied by an adult (18 years+)
An Aquatic Experience at High Altitude
Come have fun with family or friends in this pool specially designed for Avoriaz, where many play areas await you.
For children, a heated paddling pool at 32°C with small slides and water games, as well as a “Tree House” play area, are waiting to be explored.
Thrill-seekers can climb the climbing wall or try the Slidewinder – guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping!

Water Tree
A fun and colorful world is dedicated to children aged 0 to 12:
Geysers, hanging water games, slides, and water cannons create an exciting environment. This area extends into a large paddling pool, heated to 32 °C, featuring multicolored water play elements such as swings, spinners, and spraying flowers. An ideal setting for little ones’ first experiences with water.
The Water Tree is accessible to children aged 6 to 12. Children under 6 are also welcome, provided they are accompanied by a responsible adult. Parents must remain close to their children at all times.
The Slidewinder
A second zone is dedicated to thrill-seekers in search of adrenaline and excitement.
This half-pipe-shaped slide offers a dizzying, totally uncontrolled drop! From a height of 10 meters, let your inflatable ring carry you into a whirlwind of speed and intense sensations.
This slide is accessible to individuals taller than 1.30 m, whether accompanied or not. It is not permitted for pregnant women or individuals with intellectual disabilities.
Main pool and whirlpool bath
Een derde zone, gelegen in het centrale bad en toegankelijk voor alle leeftijden, bestaat uit drie afzonderlijke delen:
- Twee speelbaden van 1,20 m diep met water op 29°C:
Eén bad ligt langs een klimwand die over de volledige lengte van het zwembad loopt, het andere is uitgerust met grote bubbels en geisers. Het parcours eindigt bij de grote waterval, waar je via een liaan in het turquoise water kunt springen. - Een langzaam stromende rivier, met waterspelletjes (bubbels, jets) en twee bubbelzones met masserende bankjes
- Een verwarmd buitenbubbelbad op 33°C, met een adembenemend uitzicht over de vallei.
Swimming lessons
Private lessons are offered for all ages, from beginners to advanced levels.Aquariaz lifeguards offer private swimming lessons every morning.

Aqua Fitness
45-minute aquafitness sessions (+15 minutes in the jacuzzi), Sunday to Friday 10.30 am.
- Sunday AQUA FIT: An Aquafit session is like a mojito for your muscles: refreshing and invigorating! After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
- Monday AQUA DETOX:Time to sweat it out and release toxins. A full-body workout. After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
- Tuesday AQUA TONIC : A complete body workout to tone and strengthen your muscles. A technical and cardio-focused session. After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
- Wednesday AQUA DYNAMIQUE: A full and energizing class with dynamic exercises. After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
- Thursday AQUA BODY: Boosts blood circulation, sculpts the upper body, shapes glutes, and firms thighs and calves. After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
- Friday AQUA CARDIO: A sequence of movements using water resistance to get your heart rate up. An endurance workout that helps reduce blood pressure and resting heart rate. After the class, enjoy a relaxing moment in the jacuzzis.
All aquafitness sessions last 45 minutes, followed by 15 minutes in the jacuzzi.
They take place from Monday to Friday at 10:30 a.m., from Sunday, December 22, 2025 to Friday, April 19, 2025. No reservation is required. Simply go to the Aquariaz reception from 10:15 a.m.
Sessions are open to participants aged 12 and over.
Rates (includes 15 minutes in the jacuzzi after the session): 1 session: 10 €
Ski Lockers
Safely store your skis in lockers.
Find 14 lockers in front of the Aquariaz entrance for storing skis or snowboards.
Each locker can accommodate 4 pairs of skis or 2 sleds.
€6 for a day.
Card Only: Payment for 24 consecutive hours!
Some Information and Rules :
- Prepare for your visit to Aquariaz 😊 Last entry possible at 6:45 pm (pools evacuation at 7:15 pm).
- We do not take reservations. Feel free to check the Affluences app to see real-time attendance at the facility.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by a person over 18.
- Access to the « Slide Winder » slide is possible for people over 1.30m, even if accompanied.
- The « Three House » area is dedicated to children aged 6 to 12. We only tolerate children under 6 if accompanied by a parent.
- Children who cannot touch the bottom (1.30m) must be accompanied in the water by an adult, even if they have a flotation device.
- People must wear swimwear (lycra) to be at the poolside; we sell swimsuits and bath towels. The towel rental is €6.
- A snack (chocolate bar, applesauce, drinks) is allowed on the premises, but it is not possible to picnic as we do not have a dedicated space. We are open from 1:30 PM to 7:15 PM.
- For the locker rooms, remember to bring a €1 or €2 coin to put your clothes in the lockers.
- Access to groups other than family groups must contact the facility in advance.
Pedestrian resort
Since its creation, Avoriaz 1800 has been designed as a car-free resort, with a unique concept of a 100% pedestrian village. In winter, people move around on skis through snowy streets where skiers, pedestrians and horse-drawn sleighs share a magical setting. In summer, cars are left behind in favour of walking, cycling or riding a scooter, in a peaceful, family-friendly atmosphere. Everything is within easy reach, surrounded by unspoiled nature. In Avoriaz, freedom and simplicity truly come to life.
Ski area and maps
Avoriaz 1800 is located in the heart of Portes du Soleil, one of the largest cross-border ski areas in the world, where 12 French and Swiss resorts are interconnected.
Lift passes ski/snow
Avoriaz 1800 proposes lift passes for the entire Portes du Soleil ski area, as well as passes for individual sectors of the resort. A whole host of solutions to satisfy the needs and wishes of every wintersports fan.
