Picnic Room of Montriond

Located at the crossroads of ski slopes, lifts and hiking trails in Les Lindarets, within the Portes du Soleil area, the Montriond picnic room serves as a true hub for mountain activities. Designed by architect Simon Cloutier, it combines contemporary architecture with Alpine identity, notably through its wooden structure and distinctive larch roof. Open in both summer and winter seasons, this 120 m² facility can accommodate up to 120 people. It provides a sheltered space for enjoying your own picnic, along with additional amenities: public restrooms, ski lockers, a takeaway sales area and technical facilities. Accessible to people with reduced mobility, it meets the needs of skiers, hikers and mountain bikers looking for a comfortable place to take a break. Beyond its practical function, the picnic room stands out for its strategic location and large openings offering remarkable panoramic views of the surrounding mountain range, making it a preferred stop in the heart of the area.
