DVA Park Avoriaz

DVA Park d'Avoriaz

Located on the Avoriaz ski area at Plan Brasy, between the top stations of the Lac Intrêts chairlift and the Grandes Combes chairlift, the DVA Park is a dedicated training area for learning and practising avalanche victim search. Open access, this practice area recreates realistic situations using transceivers buried under the snow. You can set the time and the number of victims, then, equipped with your own avalanche transceiver, start searching for the signals by following the instructions provided on site and the information displayed on your device. Several scenarios allow you to train for single or multiple victim searches, test your speed and improve your handling of safety equipment (transceiver, shovel and probe). Designed for all off-piste and ski touring enthusiasts, from beginners to experienced riders, the DVA Park helps you develop essential rescue reflexes in a safe environment. Information panels guide users step by step for independent practice or as a complement to a supervised training session. An essential stop to improve your efficiency, confidence and safety before heading into uncontrolled terrain.
