Oxbow is back in the mountains and is organising its first snowboard event: OXBOW BANKED SLALOM! A course shaped for the occasion and straight from the mind of Mathieu Crépel, twice winner of the Mount Baker Legendary Banked Slalom!
The event is free and open to all, as long as you ride a snowboard! So come and challenge Mathieu Crépel in Avoriaz on Sunday 19th March 2023!
Each rider gets 2 runs and we keep the best time of the 2! You can go whenever you want, there is no order of passage. To win, you have to be the fastest down the track!
Bonus: Be the fastest and the most oldschool! Vintage clothes, board, riding style… and you’ll leave with a great gift!
8.30 – 10.00: Welcome and breakfast – Finalization of the registrations and collection of the “bibs” at the Changabang, 50m from the arrival of the Prodains cable car.
9.30 – 10.15: Opening of the course for warm up (depending on weather conditions)
10.30: Launch of the free passage contest
12.00 – 14.30: BBQ at the Changabang (12€ menu for registered riders)
15.00: Podiums and prize-giving
