OxbowBanked Slalom
After the success of the first Oxbow Banked Slalom, this year we are organizing the second edition of the Banked Slalom. And we’re not changing a winning team, it’s still Mathieu Crépel, two-time winner of the Mount Baker Legendary Banked Slalom, who will be the Master of Ceremonies.
Always free and open to all snowboarders aged 12 and up. So come challenge Mathieu Crépel in Avoriaz on Sunday, March 17, 2024.
Each rider gets 2 runs in the contest (you can do runs during the warm-up session scheduled before) and we keep the best time. To be declared the winner, you must be the fastest on the course.
Bonus: Be both the fastest and the most old-school! Vintage clothing, board, style, accessories, attitude… and you’ll leave with a very nice prize!
Prizes: 3 Oxbow Pohosnow sweaters / 2 Nidecker snowboards / 2 pairs of Nidecker Supermatic bindings / Snow masks and goggles from Möken / NST wax kits / €2500 in vouchers for oxbowshop.com / Oxbow goodies.

Please note that for the registration of a minor, their legal representative must be present at the registration on the day of the event.
Wearing a helmet is mandatory
8:30-10:00 AM: Welcome and breakfast – Finalization of registrations and bibs collection at Changabang, 50m from the arrival of the Prodains gondola.
9:30 -10:15 AM: Banked open for warm-up (depending on weather conditions).
10:30 AM: Start of the Oxbow Banked Slalom with free passage.
12:00 – 2:30 PM: Special menu at Changabang for €15 (burger + fries + drink) for registered participants.
3:00 PM: Podium and prize-giving ceremony.
