Avoriaz 1800 Partner

More than just a brand, Avoriaz 1800 has become a life philosophy that unites us in common values and the art of responsible living. Our partners share these principles and feel the same passion for the mountains, for sport and for innovation.

Dynastar is a source of inspiration in the skiing world, advocating values that are driven by passion, authenticity and audacity. So it was only natural for the brand to team up with Avoriaz 1800 and benefit from the resort’s unique playground.

But beyond the partnership and the philosophy attached to the discovery of skiing in its multiple forms, Dynastar and Avoriaz 1800 are renewing with the very roots of the mountain experience. This is an opportunity to return to basics, share pleasant experiences, and let the mountains work their magic.

For 2 years, Dynastar and Avoriaz 1800 have been encouraging holidaymakers to try cross-country skiing. Visitors can now discover this discipline, or perfect their technique, in the safety of two waymarked trails that have been created at Avoriaz 1800. The fluorescent nighttime excursions proposed for the first time in 2019 were a huge success for the 400 or so participants.

This year, Dynastar and Avoriaz 1800 are organising 3 new nocturnal cross-country ski outings. Keep an eye out for information and sign-up details.

Quiksilver, the iconic snow & surf culture brand of the group Boardriders Inc, was created in 1969 by a group of surfing enthusiasts in Australia. Quiksilver remains loyal to a « lifestyle » based on the founding principles of passion, authenticity and innovation. The brand’s universe is reflected in its logo, a mountain tucked in the trough of a wave, which symbolises its attachment to boardsports and to their respective playgrounds: oceans and mountains.

Quiksilver covers the entire range of snow & surf sportswear, accessories and equipment. Quiksilver is also a name that accompanies the best athletes and major events that have gone down in the history of boardsports.

ROXY is a brand that belongs to the group Boardriders Inc. Created in 1990, ROXY is the first and only boardsports brand to be devoted exclusively to women. It specialises in the development and design of garments that reflect lifestyle and performance as well as being trendy, technically innovating and oozing the mountain and ocean spirit. By creating unique products for surfing, wintersports, fitness training and yoga, and allowing whole generations of pioneering women to revolutionise their sport, ROXY encourages all women to flout convention, in all of life’s realms.

Avoriaz 1800 is increasingly committed to soft mobility and is joining forces with Kia Motors France for travel beyond the resort because mobility and reliability are essential to our activity at altitude. Today, Kia is positioned as one of the leading automobile manufacturers in alternative energy resources thanks to a wide range of cutting-edge technologies. Hybrid, rechargeable hybrid and 100% electric, Kia is one of the rare brands to offer so many clean-energy solutions. Moreover, Kia is the only non-specialised manufacturer to market two electric 100% SUVs with a range of more than 450km.

Created by a globe trotter, entrepreneur and boardsports fan, EQ proposes a range of certified organic cosmetics and eco-designed accessories that help you strike a perfect balance between lifestyle and eco-friendliness.

The sun protection range is from 100% mineral sources and is non-ecotoxic for the marine environment. It is free from ocean-polluting chemical filters, parabens, synthetic fragrances, alcohol and pesticides, and contains only pure, eco-friendly ingredients that look after your skin.

Avoriaz 1800 has teamed up with EQ to increase public awareness about the need to be mindful of our environment and to respect the water cycle, from the falling snowflake to the ocean waves.

As an innovating French brand that specialises in design, LeMont proposes innovative, modular street furniture that makes life easier for users. For 2 years, LeMont has been reinventing the urban furniture of Avoriaz 1800, ensuring it reflects the resort’s unique architectural style as well as its values: outdoor living and fresh air.

LeMont is a French venture that revisits the essentials and spices up the classics. All the brand’s furniture is designed and manufactured from French, high-quality raw materials in its own factories in France. The frames are made from either galvanised steel or aluminium, and the wood is sourced from self-managed forests.

For the « Le Trait » collection inspired by the lines of Avoriaz 1800, Benoit Maltier teamed up with the artist NASTY, who has revisited the designer’s creation in a blend of the most inspiring shapes and tangy colours.

The Tourist Office is switching to all-electricity and is equipped with 2 electric snowmobiles for its intra-station trips. Once again Avoriaz 1800 takes the first step by testing 100% electric, a first in French resorts. Mountain e-park and the Swiss brand Quantya created this snowmobile especially for Avoriaz 1800, they are the only ones to develop these electric snowmobile models.

An ecological approach

A family business, Maison Pugin was founded by Jaque and Lucas Pugin, two brothers from a family of farmers who have been raising Christmas trees since 1989. A Christmas tree does not come from a forest, it is a plant from a specialized cultivation that lasts 5 to 10 years and is destined to create the unique and magical world of the festive season.

Our trees are grown in plantations that guarantee a responsible and controlled production, in harmony with nature and with the aim of being cut down one day. During these 6 to 12 years of cultivation, they have absorbed a large amount of carbon dioxide, participating in the development of the local flora and fauna.

Opting for a local fir tree is the most ecological choice because your purchase is part of a sustainable development approach by reducing the transportation linked to this activity.
