The Resort of Avoriaz 1800 is located in Haute-Savoie in the Northern Alps, or more specifically, in the Chablais mountain range.

Perched 1,800 metres above sea level, the resort offers stunning views of the Aulps valley and provides a gateway to one of the world’s largest cross-border ski areas, Les Portes du Soleil. Avoriaz 1800 is easy to reach via Cluses (D907 and D902 roads) or Thonon-les-Bains (road D902).

The vehicle-free resort of Avoriaz has 2 entry points, each with a car park:

  • The « Route d’Avoriaz » is the D338 road which takes you straight up to the Avoriaz Resort Reception (« Accueil Station ») and car park area. On arrival, head directly for the unloading area to empty your car before leaving it in the car park.

  • The Prodains Express cable car is a quick way to reach the resort (4 minutes) from the Morzine valley. Park on the outdoor car park just next door.

Car parks

Avoriaz 1800 is a pedestrianised, car-free resort. Forget pavements and spend your holiday with both feet firmly on the grass. There are several car parks where you can leave your vehicle.

Prodains cable car

From down in the Morzine valley, the Prodains Express cable car takes you to the resort of Avoriaz 1800 in just 4 minutes. There's an outdoor car park at the cable car bottom station.
