LUCAS BEAUFORT ARRIVES IN AVORIAZ
Lucas Beaufort and Avoriaz 1800 have created a fresco of photos to recount the history and daily life of the resort. The artist provides his own representation of images and his intrepid characters venture into the snow-covered scenery.
Entirely free and open to all, the exhibition is shown in the Fontaines Blanches public passage, an urban setting typical of Street Art tradition.
The “On vous raconte des histoires” project was created by artist Lucas Beaufort to associate France’s most beautiful resorts in a shared cultural project.
Targeting all ages, the underlying theme of the project is bringing people together Relive memories with pictures of the resort from bygone times or discover funny, charming characters in more contemporary images of daily life in Avoriaz.
Born in Cannes in 1981, Lucas Beaufort is a French visionary painter. He lives in a world populated by imaginary characters: gentle but fun-loving monsters who help him depict a positive image of the world.
Inspired by winter sports from a young age, Lucas Beaufort is known for the “recover” concept.
He has painted over 1,500 covers of skate and snowboard magazines and received glowing reviews. He adds his characters to the photos, giving the impression they were always there.
