SKIPASS SALE INFORMATION

In order to avoid long queues at the skipass desk on December 15, you are strongly advised to buy your skipass in advance.

1. If you are staying at Pierre et Vacances Holiday Residences, you can buy your skipass in advance. You will receive your skipass on arrival. Accommodation + Skipass packages will be on sale from November 1.

2. Buy on line.
You will have the opportunity to buy your skipass online : Skipass Avoriaz until Day-7. Your skipass will be delivered to your home adress.

3. The skilift cash desk in the centre will be open on December 14 , from 4 pm to 8 pm.

SNOWSPORTS FESTIVAL, DECEMBER 15 / 16

The theme for the 9th Avoriaz  Snowsports Festival is music and winter sports
as the resort is the host venue for the “Rock On Snowboard Tour” and “Come On for Ski”.
No less than 50 ski and snowboard brands will be on show in the village so visitors can test all the latest models and get the low-down from professionals who can advise which gear is right for you.

Features lots of entertainment and manufacturer’s stands so visitors can demo plenty of gear and learn a whole bunch of new stuff.

Ride and Shred a unique snowpark...it’s possible with Rock On’s own mobile snowpark to complement those on offer in resort. The Rock On park features fun elements suitable for all
levels. It could be called the “Rock On run”, since it’s possible to do them back-to-back, with at least 5 rails on a musical theme including guitars, vinyl records, ghetto blasters and more...

MY FIRST SNOWBOARD RIDE!

Introductory snowboarding sessions in a snow garden for under 10 year-olds... the ideal place to make their first turns!

Free hire of snowboard, boots and helmet... and coaching in a fun space. A free session at the foot of the slopes every day at around 3pm, with a free teatime snack which parents are welcome to join in and a goodie bag with inflatable guitar and Burton freebies.

AFTER-RIDE

Session from 3.30pm-5pm on Saturday
A giant happy hour in the centre of the resort with mulled wine and pro-rider demos: free mulled wine and hot horse-chestnuts... how about that! Our air guitar champion and DJ Gaston Pluton will be in charge of the music and getting everyone in the party mood... he may even put in a performance with the “Plutonettes”.

For snowboard fans, riders will be putting on a show on the urban modules where Snowsurf will be in charge of the contest. Each leg features prize money, with prizes including Epiphone guitars and a Pioneer “Steez” ghetto blaster. Event lasts at least 1hr with rock ‘n’ roll on tap!

THEME NIGHTS

Live bands in the resort's bars and dance venues.

At “Rock On ST”, there’s no VIP zone...just snowboarders who live for the sport and keep it real.
Each year “local hero riders” come to Avoriaz to enjoy a weekend at their home venue, either in the parks or the slopes’ edge...and the cool atmosphere makes it even better!

Star riders include: Mathieu Crepel, Arthur Longo, Nicolas Droz, Victor Delerue, Victor Daviet, Valerian Ducourtil,Pierre Rué, Sylvain Bourbousson, Anne Flore Marxer...these are just a few of the star names from previous years...and you can meet them on a chairlift, in the park, in the
manufacturers’ village or on a night out!

AQUARIAZ OPENING PARTY

Come and have fun on Friday, December 14th at the opening party of the Aquariaz at 3 pm to 9pm!
Good to know: Aquariaz will be fully opened on Saturday, December 15th, from 1 to 7 pm ( same hours on december 16) don't forget to bring your swimsuits!
