This entirely pedestrianised resort is free from traffic. So forget pavements and spend your holiday with both feet firmly on the grass. Children's heaven in a unique, magical atmostphere far from the daily grind.

The architecture mimics the landscape to blend into the surroundings. The unique contours of Avoriaz 1800 have been officially recognised as one of the great architectural achievements of the 20th century.

With its vehicle-free concept and apartment buildings that were eco-designed even in 1967, the resort has always been committed to sustainable development and this year is launching procedures to obtain Flocon Vert certification.

Riding in Avoriaz means enjoying 10 ski lifts and 19 downhill slopes, as well as accessing the 600 km of trails of the Portes du Soleil thanks to its central position in the MTB domain. Avoriaz's Bike Park is equally appreciated by experienced riders and beginners for the variety of its trails. This diversity allows both breaking away from monotony and offering an ideal playground for progression.
